FACE MASKS FAQ

What size mask is right for me?

We find that most women fit size Medium masks and most men fit size Large masks. Youth masks are suitable for most kids and young teens. To confirm your mask size, compare the width (back left cheek to back right cheek) and height (mid nose to chin) to the sizing chart below. 
Youth: 5” H x 7” W,  3" ear loop
Medium:  5.5” H x 7.5” W, 4" ear loop
Large:  6.5” H x 8” W, 5" ear loop

Please note that masks are not recommended for children under the age of 2 according to the Public Health Agency of Canada.

What are the masks made of?

All masks are made from high performance, moisture wicking 100% polyester. This includes the durable outer shell, soft spun inner shell, and stretchy ear loops

Where are the masks produced? 

We are proud to say that our masks are designed and produced locally in Vancouver, BC!

Who designed the mask graphics?

The very talented and Vancouver local Fer Rivera helped us in designing our masks!

 

Are these masks for medical purposes? 

No, this product is non-medical and does not replace N95 or other medical grade masks. It is intended to help prevent transmission of droplets between people as well as onto surfaces and allows medical masks to be prioritized for health-care workers and patients. This product makes no claims of antimicrobial protection, antiviral protection, particulate filtration, or infection prevention or reduction.
In addition, these masks do not replace other recommended measures to stop the community spread of COVID-19, including social distancing, washing your hands often, and refraining from touching your face.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

What is your return policy?

Due to the hygienic use and nature of this product, all masks are final sale and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

 

What is your shipping policy? 

Please note that our local production partner is producing masks as fast as they can while maintaining necessary restrictions to keep their staff safe. Due to this, we expect that you will receive your mask 4-6 weeks after you place your order. We truly appreciate your patience during this time and will continue to provide updates. 
All masks will be shipped via Canada Post via lettermail or parcel mail. Lettermail orders are likely to arrive faster, however tracking is only available through parcel mail. Lettermail orders will be sent in packages of up to 4 products each. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your chosen preference.
The BC Women’s Health Foundation is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable, missing, or stolen though we will do our best to locate your order in the case that sometimes goes wrong.

 

Do you ship internationally? 

Unfortunately we are unable to ship orders to addresses outside of Canada.

Will I receive a tax receipt? 

Mask purchases are not available for tax receipts. Donations of $25 or more made at checkout will receive a tax receipt via email in 2-3 weeks.
